Simple Tips To Prevent Exercise Induced Body Acne

Exercise in itself is very good for your health, skin included. It burns calories, improves circulation and boosts metabolism. But what you do before and after exercise is crucial in deciding if you may develop acne or not. Here are a few tips to make sure you don’t develop acne due to exercise.
1. Don’t Delay Showering: Jump into a shower as soon as possible because sweat can clog pores which can cause an acne breakout. A shower on the other hand can open pores and clean your skin of sweat and dead cells.
2. Anti-bacterial Body Wash: Switch your regular soap with an anti-bacterial or anti-acne soap/wash that contains benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid. When you work up lather from this soap, leave it on your skin for a bit and rinse it off.
3. Exfoliate: It is important to exfoliate regularly as it prevents dead skin build-up. Use a body brush or an exfoliation scrub, they both work well.
4. Cotton Clothing: Wear loose and breathable clothes, they will prevent sweat from clogging pores and help expel toxins on the skin easily.
